How To: Create a Quick and Dirty Vampire Death
This video was included as part of the behind the scenes segment of the Stakes DVD. When I signed on to work on Stakes, the rest of the behind the scenes was already put together, but Don asked if I would add something. This is what I came up with. It was my first attempt at a behind the scenes segment, and it’s a little clunky, but it gets the point across.

I love this effect, I am suprised it couldnt be done completely with After Effects.

You probably could do the whole thing in AE, but I knew Particle Illusion better at the time, and it was just quicker.
